About the role

As AI Director, you will lead the direction of AI across Addovation. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, turning ideas into scalable solutions, and ensuring AI becomes a natural part of the way we work and deliver value. This is a strategic role with a strong operational element, where you will collaborate closely with business leaders, consultants, developers and customers across the organization.

You will lead Addovation's AI Council, bringing together stakeholders from across the organization to align priorities, accelerate adoption and ensure business value.

You will have the opportunity to influence both our initial AI adaption and the AI-powered services we bring to the market.

What you'll do

As AI Director, you will:

- Define and drive Addovation’s AI strategy, roadmap and priorities.

- Define the direction for AI platforms, data foundations and AI agent architectures, ensuring solutions can be deployed securely and at scale.

- Drive an AI-first way of working across delivery, sales and operations, helping teams embed AI naturally into daily work while taking advantage of “old school” competencies and capabilities where suitable.

- Work closely with business units to develop AI-powered offerings and services within areas such as IFS, NetSuite, Oracle and Microsoft technologies.

- Lead and coordinate AI initiatives across functions, ensuring business goals and technology capabilities align.

- Drive AI adoption internally by enabling teams with tools, knowledge and best practices.

- Establish governance, security and compliance frameworks for responsible AI usage.

- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory and organizational requirements.

- Build and lead a network of AI Ambassadors who support adoption, knowledge sharing and experimentation throughout the organisation.

- Represent Addovation externally in customer dialogues, partnerships, industry forums and market activities.

- Create value through new and enforced commercial models

What experience you'll likely have

You likely have several years of experience working with technology, business systems, digital transformation or consulting. You have experience leading initiatives and bringing together people, processes and technology to achieve business goals.

We also believe you have:

- Experience driving strategic technology initiatives and business transformation.

- Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends and practical applications.

- Experience working with cloud platforms, data-driven solutions or enterprise software environments.

- The ability to bridge business needs and technical possibilities.

- Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

We'd be even happier if you also have

- Experience from ERP environments such as IFS, Oracle NetSuite or similar platforms.

- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI frameworks and regulatory requirements, including the EU AI Act.

- Experience building AI-powered products, services or advisory offerings.

- Experience working in consulting or customer-facing environments.
